A few more photos from the first week at Circus Smircus camp, session IV, for 2014, courtessy of the Smircus Camp CIT Blog.
Acro Class — Kameron loves circus acro class, but he does NOT like being a “flyer” (someone supported by others), and usually argues for being the “base” (someone supporting others). So this is a rare photo!
Oh, my! Anybody who knows Kameron knows that he loves basing pyramids and all kinds of acro stunts — but he hates flying. The fact that he’s on top shows somebody is definitely expanding his comfort zone this summer!
This is a group shot from Pie Day — Kameron managed to avoid being photographed with his face covered in pie — he’s in a red shirt, with his face hidden by someone’s hand. Pie Day is another highlight of Circus Smirkus camp every year.
Playing games by the lake
What’s summer camp without a campfire?
The annual lake trip — with counselors buried in sand, a gigantic castle and moat, swimming and a picnic — is a highlight every year.
