What do you think of my new headshot? It was taken this week by Walter Johnson Jr in his amazing studio at Southside on Lamar. It’s a cool work/live space in downtown Dallas, in a big red brick building that used to be the Southern regional headquarters and warehouse for Sears Roebuck, which was a big department store and catalog company.
I’ve been there before for auditions with a casting company that is there, but when you go in for an audition, you’re paying attention to the casting director and what you’re supposed to be doing, so I don’t remember ever really looking at the building’s architecture before.
This time I got to look at the high ceilings, exposed brickwork, huge windows andĀ gorgeous wood floors. I’m not sure if I’d want to live in a huge loft space like that, but there are some cool stores and businesses in the building and the apartments look cool.
Walter really knows what he’s doing, and he’s super nice. We didn’t even take 45 minutes to get some good shots, and my agent picked the “one” in record time.
Here it is — what do you think?
This is the alternate I might use for some character roles. What do you think about this one?
