This was the third year I’ve gone to Slappy & Monday’s circus summer camp.  But it was the best because my best friend Devin went with me this time!

This year, it was all about being a clown.  We did skits, told jokes, and practiced our improv skills.  At the end of camps how, “Bring in the Clowns!”, I was in four different skits.  This picture is from my favorite, the sandwich skit.  Monday says it’s very old, maybe 100 years old, but it’s a lot of fun.

We also juggled, performed on the silks, and showed off our “clown poses” when people in the audience would call out a word like strongman or thoughtful and we’d have to freeze in a position that demonstrated the word they’d called out.

Best friends make everything more fun! Devin has been my best friend since second grade, and I think he always will be.
