I love to perform. Lately, a lot of people have asked me if they could book me for parties or performances. Yes!
I don’t charge for non-profit shows, so if you are a charity or community group, and you need someone to perform as a strolling street busker or on stage, just let me know. If I’m free, I’m happy to do it — and I can usually talk some friends into coming along to make it a real show instead of just one teenage juggler.
I’ve performed free for:
- Community organizations
- Kid’s clubs
- City Rec Centers (summer camps & holiday events)
All I need for a performance is a roof high enough to juggle under — about 9′ will do it. A place to put a boom box with some music is nice, but not essential.
There is no charge for a performance for a non-profit, but if I am juggling in a public where it’s appropriate (like the Bastille on Bishop festival, The Irish Festival or the Wildflower Festival), I usually put down a top hat for tips. I didn’t at first, but people kept trying to give me money while I was performing, and 3 years ago at Bastille on Bishop, this guy almost pushed me off my rola bola trying to slip money into my pocket, and another person almost got hit with a diabolo because they were trying to put money underneath one of my props. Putting down the tip hat keeps me safer!
I do charge to perform at commercial events. If you’d like for me to perform as a solo act or recruit some friends to put on a show at a corporate event or private party, let me know what you want and we’ll put together a price for you. I’m performed for large corporations, conventions, private parties, and political fund-raisers.
You can book a single act that’s 3-5 minutes long — or a full show that lasts an hour or more. Just tell us what you want, and describe the venue and audience, and we’ll come up with a proposal. The cost varies by the number of performers, and the kind of acts you want to book, as well as the length of the show.
I can perform by myself, as a background or “strolling player” at an event or onstage as a featured act, or I can bring some friends and put together a complete show. Let us put on a show for you! References, videos, and auditions are available on request, of course. Here’s a recent video showing some of my skills — it was actually raining the day we shot this, so some of the tricks had to be left out or modified because of the rain, but I think it gives you a general idea of my skills.
Fill out the contact form below, and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible to work out all the details.
